Detailed heritage conservation: elbcontor is creating a precise Heritage BIM (HBIM) model of "Schoss Rauenstein". The digital twin represents all spatial and structural aspects of the 17th-century building in its current state. It thus serves as a reliable basis for future interventions and as an archive for continuous documentation.
Continuing a story: As a basis for planning the future restoration, elbcontor creates a realistic 3D model of the historic three-winged mansion. The building is captured in its entirety, including all traces of time. An exact snapshot of the present moment.

elbcontor is gaining an international reputation. Our brand design, co-created with the agency N3 Vision, has been honoured with the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2025. Commissioned by stephankoch architekten, elbcontor is contributing to the redesign of a heritage villa in Munich West, an exclusive residential area. Capturing both the building and its garden, we are creating a textured 3D model with the highest level of detail – as charming as the former artist’s house itself.
Within the framework of its nationwide presence, McDonald’s is set to develop additional spaces. To this end, elbcontor surveys the interiors of historic and contemporary buildings across several German states, producing floor plans, sections, and elevations that provide a precise foundation for architects – for the next stage in a building’s lifecycle.
elbcontor has been tasked by Technische Universität Dresden with surveying a historic hunting lodge and creating architectural drawings. Located in Tharandter Wald, this cultural monument — whose origins trace back to the 13th century — is set to be transformed into a conference center. We have been commissioned to create a photorealistic 3D representation of the renowned Villa am Waldpark. Both the mansion, built in 1874, and its expansive 10,000 m² estate — including a park with sculptures, stream, mature trees, and a coach house — will be surveyed by elbcontor and transformed into an elaborate architectural model.

An historic building boasting high-end accommodation and Michelin-starred cuisine. We have been commissioned to carry out a 3D survey of the property and to update the plans. We will also use laser scanning to map the surrounding park and to depict the entire ensemble in a series of finely detailed 2D architectural drawings: elevation views, floor plans, and cross sections.
This postmodern office building with a floorspace of 40,000 sqm is to be documented in its entirety, including interiors. We will carry out a 3D survey and create a Building Information Model. This intelligent model, commissioned to optimise building operations, is finished with authentic textures. It also includes all building services and furnishings.

Thanks to the proportionate mapping of all relevant components of a building, elbcontor can develop floor plans, façade perspectives, and cross-sections in 2D. Depending on the requirements, these are then illustrated in captivating detail and beauty. These plans facilitate further architectural planning, as well as the preparation of future transactions.

These serve as a reliable record of the current state of a building, as a basis for calculations and all further applications or project phases. Captured in meticulous detail, the architectural models are rendered in CAD. They are created with unparalleled accuracy that far exceeds the industry standard. Upon request, outdoor facilities may be included, resulting in a comprehensive surface relief featuring vegetation, access routes, and ridge and eave heights of neighboring buildings.

Exact 3D scans are used to produce contractually binding area computations for rental, sales, property management and operations, for sales brochures and partitioning plans. As a member of the German Association of Property Researchers (GIF), elbcontor is always up to date with the latest applicable legal regulations according to DIN 277, gif, and the German Ordinance on the Calculation of Living Space (Wohnflächenverordnung, WoFlV).
